what new features does this upgrade have?
According to the source code, the boards are using vBulletin 3.0.7 right now, so the next big upgrade is to 3.5.x.
AJAX allows your posts to be added and edited without having to reload the page.
It won’t look much different than what you see now, but some moderation functions have been improved and customizing the board has been made easier and more reliable.
what do we, as CCers, have to gain from this upgrade? or is it only a <em>mod</em> thing?
I’ve seen some people type with smiles and italics and underlines. How can I do that?

ew the index is so ugly… it seems cluttered and like the forum or my browser is broken and didn’t format the page correctly. maybe im just used to the old look… 
We used to be able to see how many posts in a thread and who was the last poster in a thread. What happened to that? It was a useful feature.
Not sure if this is part of the upgrade, but the blue URL links are now underlined. I liked the old way (not under lined) MUCH better. Any chance of changing this back? Please?

The links with underlines look a little tacky and the font doesn’t look the same as the old. I hope you fix the stylesheets!
