Hard code is usually controlling the formatting directly at where the text is. Non-hard coding is controlling the formatting from a remote file or in the header.
Anyways, I think the current format looks terrible in 1280 resolution, and the font size needs to be fixed to the original look (right now it’s too small).
If you’re using CSS, it is EASY to change the font size. Play around with the font-size attributes until it looks right. I’m seeing the subforums at a size of 90% their already small parent elements. Not necessary.
Yes, the current format appears hideous to us 1280 users…please change it back to the original. You can redesign it in CSS to match the original…it’s possible, trust me. If you can’t then I’ll even help you. But please, something needs to be done, and please add back the post-count option. It should be a standard option in the cpanel on a V-Bulletin board like this.
