oxolojo, so you’re sticking with PAC 10?

Love the PAC 10!
So far, the only college I’ve gotten into that actually has football is Arizona State.
But it’s far away from home, so I don’t think it’ll be the place for me, afterall.
SC has football, which is a HUGE plus for them.
So yeah blaw, that wasn’t directed at me, but it got me in the spirit of football.

@blaw: Yeah, I 'spose. I live here in Phoenix so going to ASU is really my last choice. Ohio State is my number 1 if USC doesn’t happen, but my dad doesn’t really like that idea.
Plus, the only places I applied were my 3 in-states (ASU, UA and NAU), Ohio State and USC.

I’ve pretty much turned down NAU though (don’t really have a graphic design program and they didn’t offer me any money, which is super lame since they’re a state school and my stats are in the 99th percentile for them [I know I shouldn’t complain, but really. That’s the main reason I applied.]) And U of A offered me a $5,000 scholarship that I can’t use because I qualify for a tuition-waiver to all three in-states, which makes U of A about $21,000 (yes, that’s the IN-STATE coa!) and I can’t imagine paying that much to go to a state school that I don’t really like that much. I’d rather spend a little more to go to a school like Ohio State that I love.

So I’m down to OSU, ASU and USC.
Ohio State gave me $8,250 a year and I’m waiting to hear back if I got more.
ASU offered me a $7,500 scholarship and acceptance into their “New American University Scholars” thing, which is apparently new this year. But since I have the aforementioned tuition-waiver, that scholarship is null and void (they don’t like the stacking idea), however, I’m still allowed to be in the program.
And USC is pretty much out if I get in anyway since I can’t afford the $54,000 coa that they have. I love 'SC with all of my heart, but I just can’t afford it unless I get some money somewhere.

I kid that I’m going to a school with a U and an S in its acronym. (:
Oh, and I’m definitely going to a school whose colors involve red (maroon counts).
