Decision: Accepted!
Unweighted GPA (out of 4.0): 3.86 High School/3.97 Running Start
SAT Score: 1760
ACT Score 28
AP Classes: Running Start
IB: Running Start
Senior Year Course Load: 50 college credits
Major Awards: President’s List, Drama Student of the Year
Extracurriculars: College Theatre, Marching band, Jazz band, Concert band, HS theatre, family business, honor society at both HS and college.
Leadership: Section leader in marching band, leadership in some clubs my first years in HS.
Volunteer/Community Service: Didn’t really have any.
Job/ Work Experience: My dad has owned two businesses that I have done a lot of work for.
Essays: I think they were pretty good.
Applied for Financial Aid? Yes.
Intended Major: Business Administration/Japanese.
In-State?: Yes, Yakima WA.
Ethnicity: Caucasian
Gender: Female
School Type: Small-public, but I will be getting my AA from a community college at the end of June. Running Start.Does the unofficial transcript trick work on finding out if you are accepted DA?

If I am not accepted, can I challenge it? My schedule for the rest of this year is much more business minded than I reported when I applied. Would that possibly help? I also think there are some things I didn’t put into my application that would help. Thank you!

@MikuAlli feeling the same way as you. Some people have found that their unofficial transcript changed from “pre-major” to “business administration” so they’re in. Mine hasn’t so, either I just full on didn’t get DA or they are still reviewing. Sit tight :slight_smile: I’ve heard that it may be in the welcome packet that comes later.

You seem like a really great candidate! I don’t think there is an appeal process but it never hurts to ask! E-mail responses were sent earlier this week! If you didn’t receive one of those I would e-mail Foster. Also don’t necessarily go off of the unofficial transcript, especially if you have classes that are College in the High School at UW.
