So I already submitted my common app, yet I found two small typos after I did this (unfortunately).

It really frustrates me, and I don't know what to do. I forget a letter in "Research" in the activities section and I wrote misspelled the name of an award (I switched the "i" and the "e" in the name of the award).

I don't think they'll notice the typo for the award, though. Or at least it's a more subtle mistake.

What should I do about the other one? Should I send the school an email soon saying I found a typo in my old common application and attach a pdf of my new common app? Should I just tell them what the typo was?

Is there anything I can do?

I am aware that I can't go back and just edit the common app sent to this school online since I already paid and submitted it, but is there anything else I can do?

Thank you!!

I wouldn’t worry about it. Move on, correct the mistake, and thoroughly check your app before submitting to more schools. You could email an admissions officer, but this mistake won’t destroy your application.

Thanks for the replies.

That’s a pretty funny article, yet his typo was a bit different than mine. I was afraid mine would give off a sense of carelessness, but you guys think I should just leave it and draw attention to it?

I don’t think you should try to correct this. these are simple spelling errors, not something that impacts the substance of your application. Bringing it to the attention of the admissions officer won’t improve your chances of admission.

Edit: I meant post, not article.

I have other information that I would add to my activities in a week or 2 (about this most recent sports season), should I email the admissions office with this updated information? If I do, should I mention the typos as well?
