Hi guys, so just recently I was able to find a job opportunity upon reference from my architecture professor. The internship is under an engineering firm that works really closely with architecture, and as of right now, they are in dire need of assistance due to a big project they'are currently working on. So my main predicament is this, my professor told me that the position requires some minor knowledge in autoCAD and Revitt; I am not familiar with either programs, and I really need some tips/pointers/guides on how to gain some familiarity on them. I've already downloaded AutoCAD which I was able to get for free as a student, however due to time constraints I haven't been able to mess with it much (darn finals) I've definitely worked with 3d rendering programs in the past(sketchup, kirkythea, other 3rd party programs) and I was curious to know if any of these programs have any similarities with revitt/AutoCAD. Also, if you have any links that could prove useful in my learning process, please share, I am definitely open to any suggestions and assistance.

Try Lynda.com. It’s about $25 a month, but you’ll get all the video training you need.

Otherwise, try YouTube (or just Google).
