Foundation Fellowship and Bernard Ramsey Honors Scholarships statistics?

Does anyone know, or can anyone point me to the statistics for these awards? Looking for number of applicants (in state and OOS), number of awards granted (in state and OOS). Thank you.

I was able to find this in the Honors page…

In the 2014-2015 academic year, 21 first-year Foundation Fellows, 9 Ramsey Scholars, and 3 Mid-Term Foundation Fellows joined the program, bringing the total numbers to 91 Fellows and 27 Ramsey Scholars.

New Foundation Fellows for 2014-2015 had an average SAT score of 1546 (math and verbal only). Their high school grade point average was 4.22 on a 4.0 scale, which indicates extra points for Advanced Placement courses. First-year Ramsey Scholars averaged 4.12 GPA and 1545 SAT (math and verbal only).

But no information on how many students applied.

You probably could get the number, or whom to ask, by posting your question on the UGA Admission blog. http://ugaadmissions.blogspot.com/ Seems like I might have seen somewhere that 500 applicants applied for this year, but I am definitely not sure about that. I don’t know about the breakdown of OOS vs In state.

Will take a look @helpfulandtrying Thanks

Correction, my daughter thinks that it was over 1000 applicants @STEM2017

@helpfulandtrying Sounds about right with those really high GPAs and test scores.

Usually about 1000 applicants. Self selecting group. HIGH stats. These students normally have several amazing offers.

About 60 are interviewed ( interview weekend was this past weekend) Around half are offered the FF. The make is around 50% OOS. A class is usually around 22, though the yield varies. Can be less if the $ endowment is not performing well. Class of 2015 was just 17 students, the class of 2016 is 26 ( I think)

The past few years the numbers of Ramseys has been growing as the program is developed.

Very helpful @Sally22 Thank you
