I’m looking at University of Nottingham for Aerospace Engineering, but because I am American, this means I would essentially skip a “grade” and go straight into Sophomore year of college. Is a foundation year in the engineering program a smart choice, and if it is, what are the academic standards that I should meet?
Is this competence for a foundation year: I have a 31 ACT and 4s on Bio, World History, Calc AB, and English Lang and Comp AP exams. I also have taken a bunch of other APs (Physics 1,2,C and Mandarin) but I haven’t taken the exams. My GPA is a 4.14uw, 4.34 w. Oh, and English is my first language.
