Maybe this is just me being paranoid, but I’ve read a lot on this site about people exaggerating or making up ECs and then having admission offers withdrawn or being expelled. I put that I was the founder and president of a club at my school on my college application and then I was accepted. I technically was the founder of a club, but it was really small and disbanded the year that I left. It was more of a poorly attempted starter club. At the same time, my principal switched and the new one was never involved with my club. I didn’t over exaggerate on my application or talk about it at all really, but I’m worried the university will look into it and decide it wasn’t a real club and withdraw their acceptance. Any advice? What should I do? Am I being overly paranoid or should I worry?
@Emrose692 Yes, you are being overly paranoid. Don’t give it another second’s thought.
Yes. AOs will view founding a club in context anyway. What did the club actually do/accomplish. The simple act of founding something is dime-a-dozen.
And why should s/he be? It’s a student club.
