<p>@Mellifluent: Hm, SMU offices are closed, so that means if they did send out some of the scholarships, it would have been before they left c: hopefully I’ll hear soon~</p>

<p>I’m going into advertising as well!! I hear that those scholarships start to be sent out in January! Some people apparently find out in feb and march too!! best of luck :)</p>

<p>I wonder if SMU is like TCU – in that you only get one scholarship from the Admissions Office.</p>
<p>^ it is not. There are several waves of scholarships! First are initial ones like provosts & founders. Next are departmental. Finally the big ones ( you may get selected to interview et but these are last decided!)</p>
