Does anyone know which majors can do a four-year program instead of five? And also, what would a four-year schedule look like?

I'm not sure about which majors can do a four-year program, but there are only a small few. I know that the four-year program only includes one 6-month period of co-op as opposed to the five year program which includes three 6-month periods of co-op. I attended an info session on campus and the woman presenting said that your schedule can be pretty fleixible regarding the co-op, and a co-op advisor helps you in arranging it. Northeastern divides their year up into 4 semesters, the first two of which are longer than the last two. The co-op usually incorporates one long semester and one short one, with you attending classes the rest of the year. Also, there is no co-op your freshman and senior years.

Hope this helps

Four year plans are available for most majors at Northeastern. The only exceptions are CJ and some of the Bouve programs like Pharmacy.

Thanks for the info.

But how exactly would that break down? Still eight semesters?

How does the 5 year co-op program @ NE work with students who are "undecided" upon entering, and don't quite find their niche until later (Soph. or even Jr. year)? Are the coop experiences equally available for undecided students?

uh 4 year program includes 2 six month co-op and 5 yr includes 3 six month co-op
