I'm a rising senior in my high school and I have to register for my classes soon. At the end of this year, I will have taken three years of Spanish and three years of engineering (assuming intermediate programming even counts as engineering). I would like to be either an electrical or computer engineer when I complete college, and I'm planning on applying to engineering schools such as MIT, GA Tech, Columbia, etc. Unfortunately, I can only fit either a foreign language (either Spanish IV or AP Spanish) or an engineering (digital signal processing) into my senior year schedule. Which is better, four years of foreign language or four years of engineering if I want to enter an engineering school? I can already speak two languages (English and Russian) if that matters at all.
