Hi friendfiend, my daughter did but hasn’t heard back. Only the winners are notified & invited to the Award Ceremony on October 17th in London.
hey @ResilientOptimist ! does your daughter know anyone who was notified (winners)? I’m just trying to gauge if the winners have already been notified yet, and whether I should stop looking out for an email or something

Nope! There is so little information online about the notification process except for a blog post that mentions a phone call. Good luck!
@friendfiend I messaged Foyle Young Poets via their Facebook page & got a response - winners will be notified by September 18th. Good luck again!

@dreanerbeliever, Foyle Young Poets updated their FB page with a post saying that all the winners had been contacted. My daughter did not win. Keep writing!
Ah, I submitted and was notified earlier this month around the 7th. If anyone wants help next year or if you’d like to have someone look at your YoungArts portfolio I’d be happy to help and my friend who was a YA Finalist would be too.
Dear sir i also applied, I wasn t notified so I contact them, they told me that they have already informed all of the 100 winners( I message them in September), to further confirm it, I told them my poems name and ask them to plz check whether I won or not, they tols me that no you have t won, so all the winners were notified through email in September, you can further confirm it by messaging them, you can find their email on their fb page, king regards Faraz

Congrats on your win, I also applied for young foyle s competition but unfortunately I didn t make it upto top 100, which position did you get, you re really lucky if you are in top 15 because they ll be invited for a week Arvon Hurst course, it s probably the thing weverybody wants, I wish you best of luck and yeah I ll be delighted if you find time to read my poems, they are posted on poetrysoup, I m sending you the link, they all are romantic, I guess that the judges weren t interested in such category, but i also send poems on God, I m waiting to see the winning poems, if it s possible and you don t mind, can you share your winning poem with me
