Does this schedule look good for CoE students?? or should I take some other harder classes such as philosophy, etc.

Any classes that you guys recommend for CoE students ???

Thank you

No, but it is about the best you can do since there are no lab science courses (Physics 7A, Chemistry 1A/4A) or computer science courses (CS 61A) available in FPF. You may have to take more lab or programming courses together in a later semester to “catch up”, which would mean a higher than normal workload.

Math 1B – you have AP Calculus credit, but not a 5 on the BC (which would mean that you can take Math 53 and/or 54 ([according to the Math department](http://math.berkeley.edu/courses_AP.html)), which would mean waiting until you enroll in “real” Berkeley)?

Rhetoric R1B – you have a 4 or better on either AP English?

Other two courses (or three if you have a 5 on the BC for math): choose courses that fulfill the [humanities and social studies requirement](http://coe.berkeley.edu/students/current-undergraduates/advising/HSS%20MASTER%20List%202011-12%20%203-30-11%20FINAL.pdf). You may want to consider courses that you would be interested in taking an upper division course later (for the series requirement). Try to make at least one of them an American Cultures course so that you do not have to worry about that requirement later later. Examples offered in [FPF fall 2012](http://extension.berkeley.edu/fpf/coursesched.html) include ESPM 50AC, Ethnic Studies 21AC, GWS 50AC, History 7B(AC), Sociology 3AC.

English 31AC is another course available in FPF that counts as a humanities or social studies course and satisfies American Cultures.
