I just got my housing offer. Unit 2 Triple! I'm so glad I got a unit.

What did everyone else get?

What did everyone else get?

Unit 3 double! :)

Unit 3 Triple.

A double would have been better, but I can live with that. It’s a unit and at least I got housing provided. No need for freshman off-campus. :p

Unit 3 Triple? Me too! I wasn’t enthusiastic at first, but it actually seems pretty great. =D

I also got a Unit 2 Triple! It was my first choice :]

You know what’s so weird? My son put units 1,2 & 3 as his first three choices on his housing form. He was accepted for fall admission so he is not FPF. Anyhow, he didn’t get the units. He got Foothill and you guys all got the units! How did that happen? My son is jealous!

@maaae; Wouldn’t it be weird if we were in the same room?

@momfirst3; I think we got the rooms of people who ended up declining their dorm offer, so units were suddenly open? I’m not sure.

mom,did he put down doubles or triples? Most fpf get triples. Like piftw said, people are declining dorms, that’s how some get in. Did your son call housing to be put on a waiting list for something to open in the units?

He put doubles. No, he didn’t call housing. He figured he would just deal with it. He has some friends staying in the units so he knows he will be visiting.

@momfirst3

That’s actually understandable.

UC Berkeley Housing is Lottery-based, so it’s entirely possible for Fall Students to be housed in Foothill and FPF to be placed in Units.
