FPF Housing vs Fall Admits?? Lottery system + Roomate request

<p>Hello, I was recently admitted in the spring, but will be doing FPF (if I attend). Anyway, Cal says that they guarantee housing for FPF students, and that housing is based on a lottery system, but Housing Offers sent by email are a month later for FPF. Do I still have an equal chance against a regular Fall admit for unit preferences or do FPF have a lottery over the left overs? </p>

<p>If my friend and I were to request each other (and he is a regular Fall admit), how would that work?</p>

<p>If you request someone as a roommmate, they’ll try to make sure that happens. I was in FPF and requested my fall admit friend and they put us together. We got our second choice for room assignment. I don’t know of any case where they didn’t put people who requested each other together. Make sure you select all the same preferences.</p>
