FPF Questions

I am planning to go into the college of letter and science. I am in the process of filling out my course request form and have a few questions.

If I have satisfied a reuirement do i need to mail FPF the documents? for example if i have passed AH and I do i need to mail my APUSH score to FPF. Also do i need to send in my SAT score which proves i passes AWPE?

What do I do with my AP credits? I have taken and gotten 5's in Calc AB, Euro, US History, Physics C Mech and E/M 4 in BC

Is it possible for me to switch to COE at this point?

Is it possible for me to apply to Haas? My major is economics at the moment.

Do i actually need to take 7 breadth courses or is it ok if some overlap into different categories?

anyone…?

Depends on which one it is. Usually you need to send your AP scores and SAT to FPF. But you can email them to double check.

You should of had your AP credit sent to UC Berkeley. Then check with whatever your intended major is to see if your AP credit cancels out some pre-reqs.

I think you’ll have to wait until spring. Go here for more info: [Change of College — UC Berkeley College of Engineering](Change of college - Berkeley Engineering)

Yes you can apply for Haas. Actually, you are undeclared because you are in L&S. The major you applied under has no significance at this point. If you’re interested in Haas, take Calculus in FPF (16A, 1A, or 1B). Actually, your AP should cover the Calculus requirement. But again check with the Haas major.

You have to take 7 breadth courses. They can’t overlap (for example - 1 course cannot fulfill Philosophy and Values and Social and Behavior Studies at the same time).

Hope this helps!

Your AP credit will push up your TeleBEARS relative to other members of your class. They won’t give you TeleBEARS with upperclassmen, but they will amongst other frosh.

However, since you are in FPF, you won’t have to deal with TeleBEARS until October.
