<p>I was recently admitted to UC Berkeley as a Spring 2014 admit (extremely happy and grateful!) and I really want to do the Fall Program for Freshmen (FPF) at Berkeley. They say that registration will open on April 22, 2013 "in the morning." Does anyone know around what time this registration has opened in previous years? I am considering skipping school that day just so that I can register in time and save my spot (it's first come, first serve). Thanks!</p>

I was also accepted to UC Berkeley as a spring 2014 admit and I’m guessing FPF registration will open before 12 since it said morning. I was wondering whether you attended Cal Day and have information about FPF that has not been mentioned in My Berkeley app? Anyway, hope we both get a spot in the FPF, Good Luck to both of us :)</p>
<p>I also intend to go through the FPF program this fall! I was at Cal day, and the only thing they said was that the registration shouldn’t mess up your schedule too much (you shouldn’t have to miss school/work to register). However, since I’m paranoid, I’m taking a half-day from school to be on the safe side ;)</p>

<p>My D also a spring admit, but she took an offer at another school. Just curious if anyone knows how many spots were available in the FPF and how fast did it fill up?</p>
<p>There are about 700 opens and filled within a couple of hours.</p>
<p>There were about 300 left after the first five minutes according to my dad. I woke up at 4 am and checked again and there were about 40 left (Pacific time).</p>
<p>Yeah… my alarm definitely did not go off that morning. Waitlist from signing up at 9:30 A.M. isn’t looking too good : /.</p>
<p>Hmm, how bad of an option is the CC near/in the city of Berkeley? Haha or I could move into my grandparents house in Sacramento and go to the CC that my dad used to take extra units while in college (haha he had some 20 something unit semesters : P).</p>
