<p>Surprisingly, the 2011 Fall Program for Freshmen is already full, and, unfortunately, I was unable to reserve a spot! :/</p>
<p>What is the likelihood of acceptance into the program for those on the waitlist? Are decisions made on a first-come-first-serve basis, or are they based on merit? If the former is the case, does anyone happen to know exactly when the program became full, so that I'd have a better idea of my chances?</p>

<p>For those who are in the same boat as I am, according to the FPF staff, “priority is given to those who were added to the waitlist first.”</p>
<p>Yeah, I submitted a reservation around the first of April and got waitlisted, too. Do we still have to submit the SIR by the May 1st deadline, or are we supposed to wait until they contact us after May 3rd?
Gosh, I’m so depressed… Berkeley is my dream school :(</p>
