Franklin and Marshall decisions

Does anyone know if F&M sends out decisions early (from regular decision applications) or if they all are sent March 31/April 1. Do they let one know by email or have a website where decisions are posted?

D applied RD. We’ve seen nothing to indicate there would be any decisions sent out prior to the regular decision date. If you’ve heard otherwise, please post about it. Good luck!

Received an email today from F&M Admissions re financing options. Hoping that’s a good sign!

Looks like last years’ decisions were posted on March 25.

@Loki5:
The link you provided mentions a portal. Do we have a portal this year? I don’t ever remember getting a username/password, etc…

@ak121993 In the fine print of the letter they sent out saying “we’ve received your docs and your app is complete” it mentions a web address to the admissions portal, as well as you username and password. If you view the other popular thread under F&M, there is a link to the login.

Decisions for F&M regular decision application are posted on the student portal at
https://myadmission.fandm.edu/StudentPortal/Public/Login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2Fstudentportal%2FStudentHome.aspx</a>
The username should have been emailed to the student - my daughter’s was first initial followed by last name followed by three numerals - and the password is the name of the home city given on the application (case sensitive). You only get three tries to log in otherwise the account is deactivated and you have to contact admissions to get it reactivated (this happened to my daughter).

No scholarship or financial aid details, but it says “Admitted - congratulations” for successful applications. I hope you all have good news too.

Mom77381,

The financial aid details were posted the same day they posted the acceptance decisions.

You should have received your student ID in the (postal) mail several weeks ago. I did not even remember that I had one. I had to search through all my college application files to find it!

I got my decision & financial aid in the mail today :)

I guess there was nothing on a scholarship because my DD didn’t get one! We’re very surprised because she got great scholarships from everywhere else she applied - schools of equal or greater academic standing.
