Franklin Olin or Cooper Union?

Just wanted to hear some opinions. If you got accepted into both of these schools for Engineering, which one would you rather choose and why?

Cooper Union just because I'm partial to NYC.

Cooper Union just cause cooper square is only blocks away from union square, an area that i am partial too. And Cooper Union isn't as hard core as Olin when it comes to work.

Definitely franklin olin coz its a better school to begin with (maybe harder to live through, but better)

And have u guys seen the damn cooper union campus (or the lack of one as i call it) ???

Both are excellent schools.

I'd pick Olin. I prefer Boston to NYC.

Cooper Union's campus is technically an intersection, but really it's all of NYC. You're not limited to the few university buildings like you are at some of the more rural campuses. NYC's got everything you can ever ask for if you prefer skyscrapers over open space. I can't imagine living anywhere else!

Academically, both are superb schools and both demand a lot out of you. Olin's the hot new school right now and Cooper has the history and the prestige, so I don't think you can make a mistake choosing either one.

If you have any questions about Cooper (I'm a senior there right now), feel free to IM me on AIM or message me here.

Olin! Amazing job placement!
