Frat parties at UW- for high schoolers?

So a couple of friends and I want to go to a UW frat party this weekend-- we have this perfect opportunity. We've heard that if you're a reasonably attractive girl (which we all are), getting in is no problem. Is that true? Also, are there parties on Greek Row every Saturday night? We don't know of a specific party to attend, and we don't know anyone whose going to one that night. Will that be a problem? Or can we just follow the noise around 10pm and go in wherever it's coming from... haha thanks!

Any advice for this excursion would be greatly appreciated! Besides don't go, of course... because we're definitely going :)

Honestly, I’m not sure how many people would really want high school kids at a party. Wait until you’re in college, and then go.

Besides that, most of the frat parties have bouncies that check UW ID (not just age, but actually attending the UW for entry).

Well, we wouldn’t exactly tell them we’re in high school… but I didn’t know they check UW ID! I heard they didn’t do that…? Travelgirl, do you currently attend UW? If so, have you had to show UW ID to most frat parties you’ve ben to?

Seconded…

No one wants high schoolers at a college party. It’s a COLLEGE party for a reason. Go to a high school party. The only way you’re getting in is if a really drunk, really desperate, lame college guy lets you in so that he can have sex with you, then forget about you the next day. If that’s all you’re looking for, you don’t need to attend a frat party to find a desperate guy.

@icesk8girl: under the Law, if you have a drink and someone behaves in any sort of intimate manner and they are 21+ then they could go to prison for that, have a lifelong stigma attached to their name and your conduct would have a ruinous effect upon their future life prospects.

Don’t be a Crystal Mangum.

Well, there are lots of reasons for her not to go to a frat party, but the age of consent is 16 in WA. [Ages of consent in North America - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia](<a href=“Ages of consent in North America - Wikipedia”>Ages of consent in North America - Wikipedia)

@andreaaaaaa: NOT IF SHE IS DRINKING AND UNDER 21!!!

To OP: stay at home and go to your lame HS party. As everyone else said, no one wants a high schooler whether male or female at a college party. All you’re going to do is act like immature losers who are soooo “cool” because you’re at a college party and you get ****ed up off of a sip of mikes hard. Stay home.

no one needs to be rude to her! i can understand why you would want to go but it’s really not a good idea. they do check uw id and the frat parties aren’t even on saturday nights BECAUSE they really really don’t want high school kids there. sorry girl, but you should definitely wait!

FYI: Most people don’t go to frat parties.

frat BOY. frat BOY. BOY. BOY. BOY. let me know if you want to hang out w a man. i know you don’t. just sayin though. why the F would anyone want to be a frat BOY or party amongst them?

There’s a guy in my major who’s pretty cool and he’s in a frat. Their a more square frat, but whatever. He’s welcome in my study group. Also he’s hella smart.
