OK..I dont want this to be a fraternity bashing just trying to get some information. I went to spring rush last night and I got a good chance to talk to different fraternities. I want to know why Theta Chi, DU and AEPi are always considered "bottom tiers." I am not concerned about rankings but want to make sure I am not missing something important. I was told that AEPi might be losing their house due to drugs. Is that true?

^^posting for my brother and his friends

They just aren’t that strong even in the 80’s when I was there. AEPi must have really slipped. They had the best test file on campus and had a ton of Chicago guys in the house.

Pretty much every fraternity is always losing their house due to drugs, partying, or something if you believe the rumors. Only 4 housed fraternities have been removed for disciplinary reasons since 2007–AEPi, ZBT, ATO, and Acacia

See the ranking. I am not sure if they are reliable. Judging from the scores, I think some curving is needed. ;)

Greekrank is definitely NOT reliable, haha

Fraternity “tiers” are based upon who a house pairs with. i.e. because DU pairs with sororities of a higher “tier” than AEPi does, so DU would be a considered as a better house than AEPi.
