Fraternities - SBCC

Hey, so i’m applying to SBCC for fall of 2016 since my Swedish grades didn’t cut it for UCSB at the moment. I really want to join a fraternity and experience that part of college but since there are non at SBCC i was wondering if you can officially/ non-officially join a UCSB fraternity and later when I hopefully transfer to UCSB get a full membership or so. Would really like to know more if it’s possible and if it is get some more info about it.

No, it is not possible. Some colleges will allow their sister school (Cal Poly SLO - Cuesta Community College) to do this, but UCSB doesn’t. Plus, you might get the same or even better “experience” just living in IV.
