How much are typical fraternity dues at penn? Are some houses more expensive than others? What is the upper bound?

It depends on the fraternity. My son paid about $2-$3k a year on fraternity dues. On top of that , there's a fee (about $200 per semester? I don't quite remember) paid to Penn's Fraternity and Sorority Affairs.

I remember being shocked at the amount they spent on parties, recruitment-related functions.

You pay alot to get really really drunk and to force people to be your friends

bump please

it really does depend but I would have to guess anywhere from 1 to 3 thousand a year. Since there is also a lot of variability to the quality of the houses and parties, you will probably get what you pay for

Depends on the size of the fraternity, as well as whether you're going to be living in the house or not.

And how much booze you want to drink
