frat is such a nebulous term. i still don't think i've seen a full definition of what that word actually means. if anyone knows, please fill us in. cause it's rather annoying to hear that word tossed around when no one knows what it really means as far as the regiment is concerned

2day

isnt it interaction between
plebes and upperclassmen ?

i dunno

but its bigtime punishable
right ???

but what is deemed an inappropriate interaction? we have to deal with the plebes on a daily basis, that's the purpose of the fourth class system.
you can get in a lot of trouble for it. but basically the only time i've heard of it getting someone in trouble is if they do the nasty with a plebe and get caught. so i don't know what else constitutes frat outside of that.

PC has a 1/C crew so he has no choice but to FRAT. I would imagine the same would be true for all sports/activities, so I'm wondering where this applies....must be a fuzzy line.

2day

well
i think you hit nail on head
flirt
engage
and the nasty

stay away from that scenario
its not accepted

flirting plebes are timebomb

thats the killer
send home stuff

is this too cryptic or graphic ?

reality is
plebe year is good
no flirt
abstinent time

would you agree ??

basically avoid spending one on one time with the plebe-os if you think that's going to be an issue like it's the plague. i'd say that is about the extent to what frat really is. cause it doesn't make much sense in any other context.

Essentially Plebes are considered "off-limits" unless it is impossible to avoid interaction such as varsity sports, tutoring / mentoring or regimental practice of some sort.

Unless it is official ~ steer clear. Since KP is so small everybody has a reputation, especially at the company officer level. If they (Staff) want to nickel and dime someone, they will find a way. One of my classmates had a Marine Company Officer perform unannounced room and uniform inspections at random times - every day. That Marine was a KP grad'; however, a total a**.

totally agreed 95.
the truth is though, in my time here, albeit short, the few frat cases i've seen it was not the primary offense. it was usually tacked on to the end of a different offense. such is the life at KP

2day

so

if you see this flirting plebe

youll straighten her out

right ?

just for prouddad2010 -

Is2day is the guy
to keep the flirts in place

If he sees a wayward soul
He'll put them on their face

:)

2day

please do proceed

for the regiment

speak up
to the wayward soul

could save a career

thanks
