frats/parties

i was just wondering if anyone has heard of how the parties/frats/ and overall attractiveness of the student body is here... NOT THAT THIS WOULD BE A DECIDING FACTOR... b/c i'd go here no matter what if admitted...
lets face it.. princeton = number 1!! so just wondering how life would be ... if i get in..(crossing fingers)

Here is how I understand it:
There are no "frats" at princeton in the sense that frat=house. There is a small presence of frats/sors which are just kinda unofficial clubs and/or areas of a dorm, but their parties are not much more than large room parties.

The true party scene is at the eating clubs. You can look up more about eating clubs in other threads, but they are these 10 "houses" next to campus that act as a possible meal plan for juniors and seniors. When you join one, you can hang out there with your friends, etc. The eating clubs hold parties which are (more or less) easy to get into even if you don't belong to that club (including freshmen and sophomores). There is a heavy party scene at them Thursday and Saturday night, and you can usually find a party at at least one of them on most days of the week (except maybe Sunday).

As far as student body, i've heard mixed opinions. Many will say that all the ivies are filled with ugly people, some will say that Princeton is one of the more "beautiful" ivies, and some say that only a certain proportion of students are real lookers and the others are just like those at any other top notch school. In my opinion: Princeton students show a typical distribution of ugliness and beauty that you would find in the overall population, so you will find a fair amount of hot guys/girls, but there will be a few awkward nerds, too. It is in the students' intellect and talent that you will find an unusually intriguing community of individuals.

Well put Clendenenator.

i have also heard that freshman girls kindof start hanging out more with the older boys yet lose all prospects once they become seniors.. does this have any truth?
