<p>Can first years join frats? also called called fraternities? i'm looking to join one this year.</p>
<p>When you get back to school for the spring semester, the first two weeks are rush. There is tons of info on the procedure if you look on the UVA website Fraternity council. There is a whole section on the rush process I believe.</p>
<p>A heads up, for a lot of frats, if you haven’t been going to the house rather often already, it’s going to be hard to get in. But, not all are like that.</p>
<p>That’s not true for rush, which is what he’s speaking about. Just wait for your RA to give you the information about spring rush, best 20 bucks you’ll ever spend even if you don’t join a frat. I’m gonna be rushing again this spring cuz its worth it</p>
