Freaking out about getting in

GPA: 3.7
Not submitting SATS because the dean of admissions said that would bring me down.
1 AP in 10th grade, 2 in 11th and 3 in senior year
taken 6 honor classes over my 4 yrs as well
in key club (president), theatre, NHS, SGA
Got a recommendation from my counselor and AP Calc teacher (though it will come late because she thought the early action date was later)
I really really really want to get in and I know everything I want to be involved in so this is so nerve racking.

Relax! Your stats look good. Where are you from? Va or out of state? My son got accepted ED 2 years ago and your academic resume appears to be stronger than his, though he had a ton of community service.

thank you so much! I live in VA. It is just the waiting to hear back from colleges that is the worst part

Did you hear yet?

I did! And I got in  now just waiting to see if I get into PLP

Awesome. Congratulations!

Got my acceptance letter today. I’m out of state.

Congrats on getting accepted!

Hey how do you know if you got deferred or denied? Some of my friends got it in the mail. But one of them didn’t get anything, how can he check?

Email the dean of admissions or wait another day or so to see if it comes in the mail

I got my letter of acceptance in the mail today (I am out of state.) I called admissions earlier in the week and they said that they are sending the letters sometime this week. Good luck!

Enjoy your time @ CNU. Love that some out of you from out of state are heading to the Commonwealth! That means the word is getting out about what a wonderful place CNU is.
