Freaking Out About My Chances... Help

Hi everyone.
I'm a senior and am trying to apply early to most of my schools. My current list is as follows:

Penn State (Dad Alum)
UVM
UConn
MSU
U Denver
UMass
Northeastern
Ohio State
Maryland (Uncle Alum)
Syracuse

I'm kind of a typical high school student and that's what terrifies me. I'm worried if I will get into any of these schools at all. Currently I have a 3.61 GPA and a 1730 on my SATs. I just retook them and am hoping I have done better. I am also taking my ACTs in a week. I have maintained Honor Roll and High Honors throughout my 4 years of high school. My school does not rank us as students but out of a class of 350 I would estimate I'm in the top 25% (Maybe). I have maintained a job for 3 years, and have played on a soccer and lacrosse team. I was asked to apply to NHS but didn't bother due to a lack of community service. That is the one part where I'm very scared. I haven't done very many, if any, community service opportunities. I also am not active in many clubs. Do I have a chance at any of my schools....? Or do I need to rethink my entire list...?

You have a good chance at all of those schools
Maryland and northeastern are maybes but I don’t know that much
Don’t sweat jt

I currently reside in Vermont. The tuition should not be a huge issue for me. Forgot to mention I took AP Bio and received a 4 on my exam. I’ve kept a medium level of rigor for my courses.

Bump

I’m from Massachusetts so I don’t know about a lot of the schools, but I don’t think UMass or Northeastern are out of reach, especially if you bring the SATs up a bit. Which UMass campus? I think UMass Amherst is the toughest and I’d say you have a decent shot.

Have you talked with your parents regarding how much they’re able or willing to spend each year on your education? Remember that you can only borrow 5.5K as a freshman.
You’re in at UMass Amherst; if your SAT goes up you have a shot at Umass Lowell Honors.
Penn State is iffier, apply this week since the earlier you apply the better, except if you apply for Smeal or Engineering. For extra safety indicate you’re willing to start during Summer Session.
Syracuse - depends on the college you’re applying to. UDenver is a safety, you need to find another one.

Thanks for the info everyone. I also feel like UVM is a safety school, due to the fact I’m in-state. Yes I was looking at Amherst.
