So I'm pretty much certain that if I were to be accepted at Oberlin, I'd send in my enrollment deposit that same day. I've fallen in love with the school, I guess you could say, heh. My only problem is that I don't know if I stand a chance! Here are my stats:

GPA: 3.4 UW (school doesn't weight)
Rank: 19/302 (top 7%) - this IS weighted
SAT superscore (3 test dates): 800 CR, 670 M, 720 W = 2190
ACT (one test date): 36 Reading, 36 English, 30 Science, 26 Math, 10 Essay = 32
I sent both my SAT and ACT, and didn't send SATII.

Essays: I had a lot of fun with my Common App essay, and my English teacher loved it. My Why Oberlin? statement isn't creative or interesting, but it's honest and specific. My other supplemental essays were fine, by my standards.

Recs: I asked teachers whose classes I've enjoyed and who enjoyed having me as a student for multiple years.

Interview: I met with a really interesting woman for about an hour, and had a lot of fun. She told me she thought I'd be a good fit. All of my interviews went really well, actually.

These are the schools to which I've already been accepted:
UConn (Honors Program) - half tuition in merit aid
UVM (Honors College) - merit-based Presidential Scholarship
Bard College
Brandeis University

I applied EA to UChicago, but was deferred. No rejections yet, so far.

These are the schools I'm still waiting on:
American
NYU
Macalester
Brown
and, of course, Oberlin.
