Freaking out...all classes i want are filled!

<p>Ah im in orientation 106 and all the clases i want are either closed or have very little spaces left. :( What do i do?</p>

<p>First plan for other classes. Second, if the classes are fairly big, you can go to the first meeting and you chances are you can still get into the class.</p>

<p>also, for very popular classes (like eng comp 3) they cap enrollment and open a couple more spaces per session so that people in later sessions arent completely screwed. start planning other classes, but keep in the back of your mind the possibility of them opening more spaces as sessions continue...</p>

<p>Because seemingly overnight, Both Lectures of LS1 are listed as closed, and the Schedule of classes no longer even lists either of them, only the Discussion sections. Plus Lec two is listed as having 235 enrolled students, even when the limit is 216, and despite that anomaly, it's discussions still say they have spots open.</p>

I don't think they reserve spots for freshman, or else class standing would have no purpose. I am quite sure second pass enrollment was the reason.</p>

<p>i know they reserve EC3 classes, thought they did the same with LS2 since some classes are 9 instead of the full 14 cap</p>
