I'm ranked top 10 individuals in my class. 4%
GPA 4.19. <--- 7th semester killed it
2 C+s and a C... yay for bombing finals in science classes
All my classes this year are AP except 1 honors and I've taken the most challenging classes since freshman year. I don't think anyone in my school's taken a harder schedule than me.
6 APs this year. 9 Total when i graduate

leadership position in a sort of NJROTC, cadet of the year
broad range of travel experience
and my mom had a stroke several years back
recs: great. my counselor loves me and my teachers know me very well
essays: I'd say they're above average
interviews: From what they've told me, I'm a fit for their universities.</p>

<p>The three C's will hurt you quite a bit for those schools. You have a decent chance.</p>

<p>In that case would it be worth mentioning that I was accused of cheating by a librarian on a homework assignment that caused me to get a C+ in AP Bio or that the class average for our chem final was like 60? So far, I haven't b/c I don't want to give any impression that I'm a cheater or make excuses.</p>

<p>Wow, lots of big reaches. ORM from OR state with below average SATs for most of those schools, a few Cs and no special ECs..</p>

<p>And read the prep school board to see the impact of interviews. All of these kids say their alumni interviewers told them they were a great fit, the schools would lose so much not having them yada yada and then got rejected.</p>
