freaking out--scholarships?

I applied to Pitt over the summer and was accepted about the second week of October, then got my invitation to UHC about a week later. I'm really hoping to hear something about a scholarship because it's my first choice and I could really use it...but I'm freaking out about not being qualified and freaking out some more about when I'll hear back...

I got an email from the adcomm about my essay being inspiring--I wrote about growing up with my mom and tied it into a huge volunteer project I did (my mom has had breast cancer since I was 5). I also noted on my application that my mom was disabled.

You have similar stats as my S did when he applied last year and both of you are OOS. The scholarship committee is probably backlogged as one would expect around now but I would expect you to get $10K per year scholarship and maybe more.
