OMG!!!! So i checked my grade in calc AP and i still have a D and it won't budge. I called ucsc and they said that i have to write a letter. My parents are mega dissapointed with me and I do not know if UCSC will rescind me or not. What do i write in the letter?!?!?!?!??!?!!!

Asian parents? Bleh.

I'm sure UCSC is fine with it, don't worry. Calc is not even required as a class for graduation. (fyi, I stopped taking math after Pre-Cal/Math Analysis) So just say that you are "working" to bring that grade up and I'm suggesting you to let your teacher sign his/her name on the letter, just in case the school needs proof or whatever. But have you talk to your teacher yet?

I have been hounding her office, i am in there practically once/twice a week asking her about my grade and for help with calc. I will have her sign my letter or write a teacher rec and send some other stuff in like my nomination to national honor roll and stuff. Yeah i have indian parents. I feel really guilty, they were so excited and now i have bombed all their dreams with stupid calculus.

No problem. I'm sure you will be fine since you have the honor roll award. Wish you luck!

thanks, my parents have cooled down and are helping me with the letter.

they said that you can email them too..thats what i did
