Freaking Out!!

My older sister did extremely well a the University of St. Benidict's. She's now living in England to get her master's at the University of Essex, where she was admitted unconditionally. Thus, I've always seen myself going to a four-year college... But my grades have always been suffering due to homework.

I'm planning on being an elementary or French teacher.
I've been told I'm bright, and I believe that I am, but my outlook on getting into college is seriously dwindling.
It's making me extremely nervous.

In my freshman year, my GPA was 1.625 (I know...)
Sophomore, 1.875
Junior, 3.416 (as is right now, I'm in 11th grade.)

I usually do well on tests, but my PSAT results won't arrive until December.

If people can give honest opinions and any advice, I would be very grateful.

Honestly, if you do halfway decently ont he SAT, you can get into some colleges. Your freshman and sophomore grades probably exclude you from most top tier schools unless you get like a 2400 on the SAT, but non-flagship state schools will still accept you, and even if you barely graduate you can go to a community college for a few years and transfer.

thanks... anyone else have thoughts?

Ashley, agree with karbin. Colleges would rather see a rising trend in grades than the opposite. Good luck!
