Freaking out

i heard from other people that there are some classes that UCLA doesn't count in the transcript for the final senior grade.
is this true?
and if it is, which classes aren't counted?

(it doesn't say on the website though...)

lol i can barely understand ur statement!

Anyways UCLA does not consider your senior grades in the application and admission process unless you are borderline, in which case, they will notify you and ask for them. Otherwise, if you get in, you just have to maintain a 3.0 unweighted gpa for both semesters combined

well, i got in...
but i hear from other people that they only count a-g classes for senior grades.
(i.e. religion)
i read somewhere that they count all the senior grades (including non a-g classes) since the contract DOES state all senior year grades...

so i guess to put it in simpler terms, does UCLA count all the senior grades (per semester) and make sure you have 3.0 uw?

I would say all. I had a 3.0 unweighted for 2 semesters as a senior, all classes (a-g or not) included. I'm not rescinded...

that's what i have too.
i called today and asked the UCLA people if they count senior grades that aren't UC classes (a-g) and they said they don't so that screwed me over...

i sent in the provisional report...and wrote my excuse since i had some rough time (i.e. family situation)

how likely is it to get rescinded from UCLA?

I don't think we can say. It's in the school's hands. If you violated the contract, it doesn't look good. But if you have a valid excuse, who knows? Good luck.

YES! My admission still stands :)

SWEEEEETTT let's celebrate ^^^
