<p>I was just looking through threads and saw some people saying that taking your only math course in the spring prior to transferring may hurt your chance of admission to the UCs. I'm a political science major with a 3.93 and in the honors program. I applied to ucsc(accepted), ucsb(pending), davis, ucla, and berkeley. Is there any truth to this statement?</p>
<p>I dont think so, im in the same situation and my counselor told me it was fine to take the math class in my last semester</p>

<p>My councelor at community college told me that the math and english have to be completed by the end of fall 2009 to transfer to a uc for fall 2010.</p>
