<p>Hi- I was wondering when we are supposed to hear back about the Frederick Douglass Scholarship Program. I know there is an interview if your application is selected- does anybody have any idea when that is? Will we be contacted via email?</p>

<p>I think you mean the Frederick Douglass Distinguished Scholars Scholarship… and i also believe it says that the short list will be announced by February 1st.</p>

<p>I know this is really late. But the email I received from admissions last night informed me I would have an interview in the next 14 days or so. I dunno about the short list that expatme discussed, though. Didn’t everyone who applied get an interview? :o</p>

<p>The email I received said “If your application matches the criteria set forth by the Frederick Douglass Distinguished Scholars Program, we will schedule a phone interview with you in the next 14 days.” I assume that’s what you’re talking about. It means you will know if you get an interview withing the next 14 days.</p>

<p>I received a second email today saying I’d made the final round and would be interviewed between 2/25 and 3/3.</p>

<p>I still haven’t heard anything. I’m guessing that means I didn’t get an interview</p>

<p>I made it to the final round and had my interview last Friday. The interviewer informed me that we will receive final decisions on March 12.</p>

<p>=[ I don’t think I received the scholarship. Even though American is a huge safety for me bc I have a 102 GPA weighted… I expected so much more from them financially. I just got a Dean’s Scholarship and nothing else.</p>

<p>Haha, I didn’t get a whole lot from them either. But then again, I’m not expecting a lot from any of my schools. Stupid too-high-to-be-reasonable EFC. :(</p>
