Fredonia or Geneseo? Experiences?

I was accepted to both. I am planning on majoring in science teacher education, specifically physics. I'm really torn. I also really want to be on a sports team. I've talked to the coaches in my sport at both schools; at fredonia, I would have a spot on the roster. At geneseo, I might be able to continue my sport. Maybe.
I live in WNY and they are both the about same distance from where I live. So snow/cold isn't a factor. I also live in the middle of nowhere so I don't really mind that either.
I know fredonia, I feel comfortable there. I know people going there. I just visited geneseo today and I like it, it's pretty, it seems like a nice campus, but it doesn't feel as comfortable to me as fredonia does.

Which school is a better school for teaching? How is the nightlife/parties/social life at each?

If anyone goes to geneseo or fredonia and would like to share their general experience that would be great too.

While Geneseo has a better overall reputation, I don’t think it will matter all that much for education majors. If you are more comfortable at Fredonia, go for it! Friends daughter is there now for music education. I think they are very well known for that program.

Geneseo has a really good education program. The physics program is supposedly one of the best in the country, but it’s probably also one of the toughest majors at Geneseo and most of the people who come in as physics concentrators don’t stick with it here because of that.
