Free AP Online Courses

I just signed up for Biology, Env Sci, Physics B, Psych, and US Gov.

All are self studies except for Physics.

wow this is so cool
i just signed up for AP Calculus BC, AP Physics B, and AP govt
i wish they had more AP's

CChcali, not sure what you mean....the program I'm applying to doesn't offer that many AP courses...just language ones.

Hmm....how do you get credit for it? What website do you recommend?

you guys have some wierd names, lol. ( i'm looking at the participants list).

I'm in Psychology, Environmental Science (normal and virtual lab), US History, Physics B, Physics C, and Government and Politics.

IluvA's- this is the site: http://www.ucopenaccess.org/course/index.php

You enroll in the course, buy the textbooks, and then in May, take the AP final. I don't know about getting high school credit though, if that's what you mean.

This may sound silly, but I'm allowed to enroll in courses from the website you provided even if I'm not from California, right?

yes /kdfjkdlsa;fjds;la/

Blah, the email isn't arriving =(

The email arrived for me immediately.

VA has free AP courses too, but you have to get a GC or teacher to act as a "mentor" (they don't really do anything, but the program emails them the login info which they then pass on to you.) I'm taking AP English lit online starting Sept. 4.

i just signed up for ap bio (to help with classwork)

Is their a different site, that has more courses available?

This sounds cool, but it's worthless to me if I can't get high school credit...

^ yeah, i think it's only meaningfull to people who are self-studying. Or for people who want some extra help with their in school class (b/c of a bad teacher.)

This would be great if it paid for the AP test too.

^^^ HECK YES, IT WOULD BE.

especially when AP's are $80 EACH.

To be more accurate its $83...I swear it gets higher every year...

At my school its only 76 bucks.

5 bucks if you qualify for reduced lunches.
