Free applications?

Hey, how do I get colleges to give me free applications? Is there a list of schools with free applications online or what not (I searched but coudln't find the thread)? I'm also interested in schools that charge money for apps, but will give select students free apps to encourage them....

thanks

illinois wesleyan is free, if i'm not mistaken.

anyone else?

I don't know if you can access it directly online, but Tulane has been sending a personal application to seniors with good stats to apply with no fee, no essay, and you hear back in about 1 month from when they receive your completed application. You can contact the admissions office to ask about it.

here's some off the top of my head.........hendrix, st. olaf, slu.

there's a list mentioned somewhere here on a cc thread.........gives a link to the common application participating schools.........that listing shows which schools have fee waived on-lined applications. somebody here on cc can probably point us to that thread again perhaps.

ya condor, a link to that thread would be amazing

commonapp.org has a list of common app schools that waive fees for on-line submission.

An old thread had a really good list compiled:
