Free waiver for application fee

My councilor sent Rutgers university a free waiver for the application fee. I sent in the application and everything else they needed but when I looked online at my status (which was updated yesterday) it still says I need to pay the application fee. Should I talk to my councilor about it? She mailed it on november first but I didn't think it would take them that long to receive it. Can someone please help?! What should I do?

I would give the admissions office a phone call or send them an email. Tell them that you have applied, and noticed an error about the application fee still being due. Be polite and ask if they have received your fee waiver form yet? Perhaps it was lost in the mail, or is sitting in a big pile of other fee waivers that have yet to be filed into invididual applicant folders and entered into the computer system yet. A lot of US mail and Fed Ex mail is back-logged due to Hurricane Sandy, which messed up mail delivery all up and down the East coast.
