Yale University has now made a few of its most popular undergraduate courses freely available to anyone in the world with access to the Internet. The seven introductory level courses now available provide full-content access -they are only slightly edited to protect copyrighted material - and were recorded live as they were presented in the classroom to Yale students. The plan is to add 30 more Yale courses over the next several years. The laudable aim of Open Yale Courses "is to expand access to educational materials for all who wish to learn."

Wow. Thanks for the link! Our family has enjoyed MIT's OpenCourseWare
for their math and physics courses, but this adds another whole dimension.

These are great, but folks might also be interested in various courses on CD and DVD offered on a huge variety of subjects from The Teaching Company and Modern Scholar. They can be expensive to buy, but our library system has pretty much the entire collection.
