MidwestParent, each school at WUSTL gives different things, overall students receive the T-shirt, decals and key chain. I can't remember exactly what my S got for engineering, but so far, the business school seems the most generous :). Last week my D received in the mail a flash drive with the school logo, plus all the other stuff.
By the way, congratulations to you and your D, she will love the school.

Virginia Tech gave me a wrist band and pen at the acccepted student visit, and i got a decal in the acceptance package along with a map

Brandeis gave a backpack.

in the ucla packet i got a really cool folder and a car decal thingy

S did not get anything at Cornell

I'm still waiting for a college to give out condoms XD

At Duke Up-Close, I got...
T-Shirt, nalgene-style water bottle, backpack-thing, hi-lighter, pens, random squishy yo-yo toy, notebook... plus a picture of the group with Coach K, free meals for two days & paid flights.

Chipmoney: they had those at Colby sitting in a bowl in a dorm bathroom.

and i think my free flights to VT and ME count for this discussion... gosh i love my heritage.

lol XD wanted to be discreet i guess :P

When I visited Tulane last November, they gave us T-Shirts and $100 Debit Cards to be used anywhere in New Orleans...I had an awesome meal with that money.

Ohio State gave me a portable computer memory USB thingy.
Unfortunately it got stolen in the mail :P

University of Miami: Everything came in this huge acceptance package. really nice folder with a tour guide and stuff.
Gifts: gave me a really nice Car Decal. Also gave me a 25% discount at Book store when I visit and a few other perks for when i visit. Never used them cause I didnt visit but I intend on using the book store discount when I attend this fall! :D

Bowdoin paid for me to visit there. I also got a t-shirt, a window sticker, and a coupon for the bookstore that I planned to use this fall (but I think I lost it). Free meals for the whole time (this was great, since the food at Bowdoin has a reputation in and of itself). Plus they bussed us (the group of admitted students) to Freeport, for some retail outlet shopping (although we used our own money). Once I sent in my deposit, they also sent me a usb flashdrive.

Grinnell also paid for my visit. I got a luggage tag thingy from them and a coupon for their bookstore, I think.

BU gave us pop up maps of the campus and surrounding area and a nice folder.

My friend got an Alabama Crimson Tide t-shirt from 'Bama. :P

Johns Hopkkins gave out some nice things... wrist bands, pens, etc.

Just curious although this is somewhat unrelated... HOW do you get colleges to pay for visits to their school... be straightforward and ask when you're scheduling? This would be extremely helpful come next school year. :)
