I read posts from the past years, and i guess we should be notified around 10 Feb.

<p>Hey! Looking to meet some Freeman finalists just to get to know everyone and all. Also, does anyone know what are the chances of acceptance into the university for finalists who applied for regular admissions and eventually didn’t get the scholarship? Thanks!</p>

<p>hey, anyone knows that if you are not selected as a finalist then is it an automatic rejection from Wesleyan if you are applying for FA?</p>

i intended to apply as a regular ( i paid the $55 on commonapp) but then when i checked the student portal, it indicated me as a freeman asian scholarship applicant…
I’ve lived in the united states for a long time and i can barely write in my *first language…so i didn’t intend to apply for the scholarship.
so now idk what’s going to happen…</p>

<p>I think that if u r not the winner then I think that Wesleyan will review u as a regular. However since u’ve been selected as a finalist, I’d say that that there’s a pretty good chance of being admitted… But as for right now, everthing is still uncertain… Oh and btw, sry to disappont u but I’m not the one who started this thread

Hi there, nice to know you! I am a finalist from Indonesia and I have not heard the news. I just received an email yesterday from Wescheck that tells to the regular decision will be posted online on 29 March at 3 am/pm EST time.</p>
<p>I called them up few days back, and they said that the package was sent out last Friday. I’ve pretty much accepted that I’m rejected given that it’s not here yet :(</p>
<p>Hmmm. Well, it depends how fast it takes to get to your place maybe? Do you know if they couriered it or they sent by normal mail? Coz I think it takes 3-4 working days for courier if it’s overseas. …haha. Just staying positive all the best guys!</p>
