French Sat II With Listening???

I am taking the French SAT with listening but am a bit confused by the actual process. So, do you just flip to the French part of the book and then they give you the CD? (My understanding is that you are given a book with basically all the subject tests in it, and then you write the ones you signed up for. Please correct me if that's wrong). When are you supposed to start listening to it? Can you just go through the written questions as fast as you can and then start playing the CD? Can you pause the CD whenever you feel like it? And I understand you're only supposed to hear every phrase once, but how do they prevent people from repeating the tracks?

Sorry, I'm obviously a bit confused!!! But any help would be appreciated. It would be great if I could walk into the test center on test day and know exactly what's going to happen.

I don’t know but this test has BY FAR the lowest average score. On collegeboard it said the average was like a 370. I hope to god that was a typo because that’s ridiculous.

I am also wondering about how much control we have over the CD player and whether we can fast forward/rewind/move on on our own…

I m also wondering it…the supervisor may not know whether you listen to the CD once more…so does the CD itself can prevent us to replay???
And, if I feel the time between questions are too short…can I pause it???

has anyone figured that out yet? i would love to know too…the test is in 2 days you guys…anyway, i think that test takers CAN do whatever they want with the CD, but then there is a time limitation so if they extend the pause/ rewind parts for too long (and accidentally messing up) they will obviously exceed the time limit and will not finish the test=>same as get things wrong. this is just my guess though…
