I speak French with my mother at home, but I have no formal training in it and I hardly ever read. Would I do well on the French SAT II?

<p>“Hardly ever read” is a potential red flag. There’s a significant portion of the score devoted to reading comprehension. If you choose to take it, you’ll surely benefit from spending the weeks leading up to the test reading French literature, newspapers, etc.</p>
<p>Given your spoken fluency, you will also likely perform better on the French With Listening test than the French without.</p>
