I’m planning on taking SAT II’s in October or November. I had a few questions regarding the test.
Does anyone know how the listening one works? As in you get your CD but when do you start listening or can you repeat the CD and if not how do they know you didn’t?
How are the curves for these exams?
I’d rather take with listening but due to some personal issues if I take the subject tests in November I would not be able to retake the SAT I in October so is there any difference?

You only have 20 minutes for the listening section. You are not allowed to repeat the CD, and even if you did, there just is not enough time. Note that the listening exam must be the first test of the day, so expect the proctor to be extra vigilant, because it’s not like nobody has tried to repeat the CD.
Listening is only offered in November. Without listening is offered on the other dates. For admission purposes, I don’t think colleges care which one you take.
