How did everyone do for the French with listening subject test?

omg that thing kicked me so hard in the butt it's not even funny.. it basically raped any chance i had of going to penn.. what bout you

If you aren't applying ED/EA, you will probably be able to take another subject test in december! You are part of the 75% of test-takers that think that they failed miserably. As you can imagine, the curve is pretty nice. I think I did very well on the test, but I can honestly understand if you thought it was difficult. I go to a French language school, so, as you can imagine, French is no problem for me, but some of the grammar questions were really tricky. Good luck though, and I hope your results aren't as bad as you think they are!

Yeah, don't worry, the curve is really generous, so you probably did better than you think. In any case, as rockermcr pointed out you can still take another SAT II in December if you're not applying EA/ED.

And I also go to a French school, so I finished way ahead of time, but I totally understand the test can be quite challenging if you've just been learning French for a few years in high school. I mean, if I were to take SAT German (my foreign language at school), I don't think I could crack a 750+ score very easily...

How many languages do you guys speak? I speak English, French and Croatian fluently, and I'm learning Spanish. If I were to take any Spanish subject test, I would be grateful for a 320. I'm only a beginner though, and I already feel kind of lost.

mehh we'll see i pretty much hate stupid SAT II's now, but penn told me they'll take my highest two anyway (since i'm ED) which for me would be my two maths. but about languages i speak russian and english fluently and i can read and write latin (i got a gold medal on National Latin Exam) and i guess i THOUGHT i knew french and could converse in it pretty well.. but gee i guess that test threw that back in my face, didn't it!

err I doubt you could take another test in december before ED, unless you mean ED II... in which case you might even be allowed to take a january test.
